Aaron Huesman Commits to the Dayton Flyers



Aaron Huesman, an athletically built 6-foot-5, 190-pound right-handed pitcher and first baseman from Dublin Jerome High School, has committed to the University of Dayton.

This spring, Huesman hit .341 with 4 HR, 28 RBI, and 13 SB.  In addition, he went 4-2 on the mound with a 2.11 ERA.

During the summer, Huesman is a member of the Ohio Elite Baseball program.

Over the past two years, Huesman has been named All-OCC as a sophomore and junior. He is a two-time Crossroads Showcase selection, including being selected to the Crossroads All-Ohio team. He has been selected for the Team USA Ohio Valley team, which competes in Cary, NC.  

Recently, PBR saw Huesman feature a mid 80?s fastball with good arm side run from multiple arm slots. In addition, he throws a low 70?s curveball and a mid 70?s changeup. At the plate, Huesman posses power to all fields. With his large, projectable frame, he will continue to add strength and power and help the Flyers in the middle of their order.
