Top Middle Infielders


Nick Eltzroth (2012/DeSales)
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound infielder has a thick, solid build. From shortstop, he registered 73 mph velocity across the infield. At the next level, he may project best at third base, but shows good lateral movement and plays through the ball well. At the plate, the right-handed hitter uses a smooth load, short stride to generate gap-to-gap power. He ran a 7.45 60-yard dash.


Clay Davidson (2012/Miamisburg)
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound infielder is a well-built prospect. From shortstop, he registered a velocity of 75 mph across the infield. He can likely play both middle infield positions at the next level. At the plate, the right-handed hitter uses a strong lower half and an open stance. He ran a 7.23 60-yard dash.


Matt Anderson (2013/Lakota West)
