The 5-foot-10, 165-pound outfielder proved to be one of the more polished prospects on the Team Ohio roster. Ramsey, who has a solid build, registered a 7.09 in the 60-yard dash. From the outfield, he threw 71 mph. In batting practice, he sprayed line drives to all fields, and this carried over, as he was a tough out at the plate during the games. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound prospect impressed on the mound with a consistent 82-83 mph fastball. His long and loose arm action helped him consistently throw a sinking fastball low in the zone. With additional development of his off-speed pitches, Stephenson could find himself being a Division I pitching prospect this time next year. Kyle Lento, IF/C, Dublin Jerome
The 5-foot-8, 160-pound prospect showed defensive versatility with flawless play in the middle infield and behind the dish. At the college level, he likely projects as a middle infielder as he consistently plays through the baseball and displays soft hands. He recorded 79 mph velocity across the infield. Behind the plate, Lento recorded a 1.98 pop time. He registered a 7.02 60-yard dash time. James Thomas, IF, Newark Catholic
The 5-foot-8, 150-pound prospect may have been the most impressive defensive player on the Team Ohio roster. While play in the middle infield, Thomas was a part of several double play balls to aid the Team Ohio pitching staff. He uses fluid footwork, and consistently attacks the baseball. He displays a quick exchange and transfer as he throws 80 mph across the infield. He registered a 7.22 60-yard dash time. At the plate, he is a slappy line-drive hitter. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound prospect projects a corner outfielder at the next level. Johnson, who hits and throws from the left side, registered a 7.1 60-yard dash. He threw 71 mph from the outfield. At the plate, he showed flashes of power in batting practice, but needs to clean up some mechanical issues to become a more consistent hitter. Isaac Perry, IF, Norwalk
The 5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect showed versatility in the infield playing third base, shortstop, and second base. Perry, who is an athletic, lanky prospect, registered a 7.16 60-yard dash. In the field, he uses clean and fluid footwork combined with a smooth transfer. He threw 75 mph across the infield. At the plate, the right-handed hitter uses a medium to high leg kick that can cause timing issues. However, when he made contact, he generated line drives to the opposite field. Daniel Rowbottom, IF/OF, St. Ignatius
The 6-foot, 180-pound prospect showed the ability to play both the infield and outfield. Rowbottom, who is a solid, athletic prospect, registered a 6.93 60-yard dash. In the infield, Rowbottom likely projects as a second baseman at the next level. He threw 76 mph across the infield. In the outfield, he showed the versatility to play all three positions. At the plate, the left-handed hitting Rowbottom displayed a smooth swing with an easy load. He consistently showed power to the opposite field. Tom Coon, 1B/3B, Dublin Jerome
The 6-foot, 215-pound prospect likely projects as a first baseman at the next level. Coon has a solid frame with broad shoulders. He registered a 7.53 60-yard dash. In the field, he showed soft hands and clean footwork around first base. He uses long and loose arm action to throw 75 mph across the infield. At the plate, he displayed a short, compact swing with a slightly uphill bat path that results in gap-to-gap power. Connor Holdren, IF, Hilliard Darby
The 6-foot, 185-pound prospect registered a 7.25 60-yard dash. At the event, he played both third base and second base. At the next level, his defensive skills likely translate best at third base. He uses a high ¾ arm slot to throw 72 mph across the infield. At the plate, the right-handed hitting Holdren uses a wide base and big load with his max effort swing. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound athletic prospect likely projects as a pitcher at the next level. In the summer, he displayed a low to mid 80’s fastball, but struggled during his outing at the MWF Games. He is still a definite follow for next spring and summer. As a position player, he registered a 7.07 60-yard dash. In the field, he played the outfield, but his strongest position in the field is likely first base. At the plate, he uses a tall, upright setup and balanced approach. He uses a quiet load and quick bat speed to generate pull power. Jason Johnson, RHP, Dublin Jerome
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound right-handed pitcher pitched the first two innings of each Team Ohio game. The tall, lanky prospect shows long and loose arm action. In each outing, he showed an 80-83 mph fastball with a 63 mph slider (this compares to his 83-86 showing on 7/20 at the Oho Top Prospect event). Johnson’s fastball showed plenty of life and sink down in the zone. While his slider needs to become more consistent, it shows hard biting 11/7 movement. Tanner Norton, C/1B, Bishop Brossart (KY)
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect registered a 7.25 60-yard dash. Norton, who passes the look test, is a solid, muscular prospect. He showed the ability to both catch and play first base. Behind the plate, he registered a consistent 1.85 pop time and wasn’t afraid to get dirty. At the plate, Norton uses a smooth left-handed swing with an easy load to generate gap-to-gap power. Bryce Arledge, LHP/1B, Unioto
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect likely projects as a left-handed pitcher at the next level. His fastball sat 74-75 mph and his curve ball sat at 65 mph. With a tall, broad frame, the left-hander can only get better as he gets stronger and adds velocity. Maverick Prine, RHP/IF, Davison (MI)
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect was the top two-way player on the Team Ohio roster. The solid, muscular athlete registered a 6.79 60-yard dash. On the mound, he uses a quick rhythm, short arm action, and an easy effort delivery to deliver an 82-85 mph fastball. From his high ¾ arm slot, he uses a sharp breaking 11/7 curveball as his best off speed pitch. In the field, he played shortstop, but likely projects as a third baseman at the next level. He showed soft hands and great lateral movement. He recorded 76 mph velocity across the infield. At the plate, he uses an open stance with an explosive lower half. The ball jumped off his bat to all fields.
