schoolcraft remains #1
From 8/16/23: “The 6-foot-7, 200-pound southpaw dealt with some adversity in his quick, two-inning stint, but exhibited mature presence to go along with premium upside. Working 91-93 for some in zone misses, his quick arm delivered from a low ¾ slot with relative ease that provides strong potential for even more velocity to come. Showcasing what appeared to be a split-changeup at 79-82 (900s rpm), the pitch was a weapon at times, and one that the young southpaw is confident in. A potential two-way threat, the left-handed hitter also took some nice cuts in game action. Still growing and adjusting to his long-limbed frame, the ceiling is set high."

THE TOP remains the same
Teagan Scott C / OF / South salem, OR / 2026Rankings PBR Oregon: 2

He continued to swing a hot bat this past week, recording multiple hits in all three of the Saxons' games. On top of that, he slugged a double in each of their contests as well. He finished the week slashing .636/.692/.909 in 11 at-bats, with three doubles and six RBI.”

He recorded another multi-hit performance in the finale, going 2-for-3 with a pair of RBI and a pair of runs scored. He finished the week 6-for-10 with four RBI and four runs scored.” |
Grady Saunders RHP / SS / Thurston, OR / 2026Rankings PBR Oregon: 4
From 5/1/23: "The Oregon State recruit once again showed off his two-way capabilities throughout the week. He followed that up by going 2-for-3 with a double in the next game. In the series finale against Churchill, Saunders went 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs scored. He also got to toe-the-rubber that game, allowing just one run on three hits over four innings of work. Sawyer Nelson SS / 2B / South Salem, OR / 2026Rankings PBR Oregon: 5
Nelson has been on the scene for several years now after a successful stint at the PBR Junior Future Games last summer. The slick fielding SS possesses advanced offensive ability from the left side with a clean, easy swing that produces line drive contact from gap to gap. The frame carries wiry strength now when the chance to add more bulk as he matures. Washington commit |
Ty Burnham OF / C / Sheldon, OR / 2026Rankings PBR Oregon: 6
From 6/23/23: “[Burnham] can bounce back and forth between OF and C but the arm is becoming an extremely loud tool from the OF right now. With a top throw of 92 mph and emerging power from the left side, the rising frosh has a chance to develop into a prototypical corner OF prospect.”
|
Brock Johnson SS / 2B / North Eugene HS, OR / 2026Rankings PBR Oregon: 7
Multi sport athlete with some of the best pure athleticism in the class. Johnson gets high marks for his speed, quickness and ability to stick in the middle of the diamond. A 'sparkplug' type player, he can impact the game in a multitude of ways and has the look of a top-of-the-order presence. |
DaMari Hall OF / SS / West Salem, OR / 2026Rankings PBR Oregon: 8
Hall has made big strides recently in terms of his physicality and filling out his projectable frame. The size and actions blend seamlessly together and he possesses an incredibly high ceiling as an offensive player. |
Brody Whitcomb 1B / RHP / Caldera, OR / 2026Rankings PBR Oregon: 9
Whitcomb continues to flash exceptional bat speed and power potential from the left side that really stands out amongst his peers. Generates considerable leverage at the dish with a high, uphill finish and easy lift to his pull-side. The enticiing power fits a corner profile. He also has the arm talent to shine on the bump with his FB and breaking ball combination. |
Carsten Lemon C / RHP / Lake Oswego, OR / 2026Rankings PBR Oregon: 10
Lemon really took a step forward defensively as a catcher on our most recent look in game action, throwing out multiple runners in game with a quick, athletic release and impressive arm strength. The arm talent plays both on the mound and as a backstop. Offensively he continues to impact the ball at an impressive rate with his level path and rotational power. |
