Ontario Insider: 2018 PBR ProCase - Quick Hits

We would like to thank all who participated in this year’s PBR Ontario’s ProCase this past week. This was a great opportunity to get an up close last look at the 2018 class and start the process of moving on to the 2019 class and the rest of the future follows, with all the top talent in the province all on one field. Many players impressed, and mother nature held up as it was another great ProCase with all around performances that gives us more reassurance that the talent level in this province continues to grow at a rapid rate.

THE ARMS

Jacob Kush RHP / 2B / Guelph Collegiate Vocational, ON / 2018

Report: Was aggressive and went after guys the way he typically does. Fastball had good life and was 90-91, touching 92 mph as you could tell by the late swings he was generating off his fastball. His breaking wasn’t his best, and we’ve seen it better, but the nice thing about Kush is his ability to compete even if he doesn’t have the complete arsenal on a certain day. Off to Northwest Florida State College this fall, it’s not hard to imagine the fastball adding a few more ticks and can envision his a two pitch guy with above average stuff out the pen one day.
