2018 FUTURE GAMES - TEAM CONNECTICUT DAY 3 RECAP

Team Connecticut notched a second win at the PBR Future Games, receiving quality performances on both sides of the ball.

The Arms

Emmett Tolis RHP / 1B / Avon Old Farms, CT / 2020

Game Notes: A lean, lanky 6-foot-6 right hander who slings the ball from a low ¾ slot, Tolis worked two scoreless frames for Team CT. While pitchers of his size can struggle with command of the fastball, Tolis did well to pound the zone and force hitters to put the bat on the ball. The fastball sat 80-83 MPH in the first inning before a minor dip into the 78-80 MPH range. The slider has the makings of a plus pitch with more consistency, as it was clocked between 67-71 MPH, with some variance in shape. The projectable frame bodes well as he should continue strengthening and with it, tick up in velocity.
