2024 Scout Day: L N M - Quick Hits

  • Mason Broomfield, 2026- A right-handed pitcher, large, durable pitchers frame. The arm action is longer and loose, working from a higher slot, pitching downhill, with bore/ride action.  The fastball was up to 84 mph, throwing a heavy ball. Mixed in a harder breaking ball at 72-73 mph.
  • Thomas Fiore, 2026- A right-handed pitcher, stronger athletic frame. The delivery is compact, pounded and lived in the bottom part of the zone. The fastball had sink to it, up to 81 mph, showing feel for both secondary pitches.
  • Logan Taylor, 2026- A right-handed pitcher, long and loose whippy arm action, working from a ¾ to lower ¾ slot at times. The fastball reached 79 mph, mixed in a 68 mph slurvy breaking ball, more in the tank.
  • Andrew Schebel, 2028- A right-handed pitcher, super loose and projectable arm. The fastball, in the low 70’s, look for a monster jump at some point. Took a solid batting practice, swing is advanced for a 2027.
  • Riley Barker, 2028- A right-handed pitcher, long and loose arm action. Works downhill, gets out front on release. The fastball reached 78 mph, mixed in a harder breaking ball at 69 mph.
  • Jude Monti, 2026- A left-handed hitter, short, quick compact swing. Showing plus legs, running a 6.8. An athlete, upside to him.
  • Gabe Tanous, 2024- A right-handed hitter, super athletic, ran a lightning quick 6.44 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, extremely twitchy, soft hands, quick feet, good flow. The swing is short and compact. Potentially draft pick.
  • Lucas Tanous, 2026- A right-handed hitter, swing smooth, gets through, drives the baseball from gap to gap. Longer and strong frame, bat will play at the next level. Brings value defensively, can play all over.
