Kopack Narrowing Down College Choice

Addison Kopack SS / 3B / Cumberland, RI / 2019

CUMBERLAND, RI - The list is narrowing. Addison Kopack is looking for the perfect match of academics and baseball.

“It’s down to five,” the eighth-ranked uncommitted 2019 player in New England said. “It’s a bunch of Division I schools based on kinesiology. A couple of them saw me at the PBR event at Amherst and the PBR at Brown and some with my high school and legion teams.

“Most of the coaches talk about where they see me in the recruiting process, where I can develop further or invite me to their school. They like my athleticism and power potential and that I can play multiple positions. Some see me as a middle infielder and others at corner infield or outfield.”

The 6-2 195-pounder, who plays shortstop for Cumberland High School and was a third baseman as well as relief pitcher in legion ball this summer, believes he has a lot to offer a program.
