In what was a great atmosphere for HS sports, Boiling Springs blocked out the noise to grab a huge win to advance to the District Finals in District 1 of 5A. Boiling Springs would jump out to an early lead in the top half of the 1st, scoring 2 runs sparked by a Tristan Smith double that brought in the 1st run. Mann would cut the lead in half in the bottom of the 2nd but then Boiling Springs would pull away in the 3rd inning placing a 3 spot in the inning. Landon Ellis would work around some traffic in every inning to put up an impressive start for Boiling Springs to ultimately secure the win for them.
