Scouting Report: Connell is a 6-foot 175-pound left-handed pitcher and right-handed pitcher in Missouri's 2019 class.  Connell is an athletic actions in the outfield a 77 mph positional velo, quick exchange and release and accurate throws.  At the plate, he has an exit velo  of 83 mph, smooth rhythm in a balanced set up, no wasted movement in load, pull side power, repeats swing, he runs a 8.09 60 and a 4.85 home-to-first.  On the mound, Connell has command of three pitches and shined at the Missouri Underclass Games in June.  His fastball topped at 82 mph, working 78-82, late run, breaking ball 62-66 mph, 2-to-8 action and change up at 73 mph, slight arm side sink.  He has a high three quarters release, controlled tempo throughout delivery, repeats delivery and arm speed.
