PBR was on hand on Saturday December 17th, for the second weekend of the 17 Co. Winter Hitting League. Hosted at the 17 Co. indoor facility in Greenville, SC. The field consisted of six teams with players from the upstate in South Carolina.
Today we take a look at some of the players that stood out on the opening Saturday for the league. All notes and stats were compiled by PBR Scouts in attendance.
2026 C/OF Hayden Pakkala (Greer HS) continues to improve at the plate. Controls the barrel well with a good looking LH swing. Should only get better going forward @PBR_SC @_17CO_ pic.twitter.com/UlIQ10rhXY

‘26 IF John Miedrich (@RHSBaseballSC) should be an interesting follow going forward. Athletic middle infielder that hits from both sides of the plate. @PBR_SC @_17CO_ pic.twitter.com/qOVKJAfyff

Noah McGarity is another 2024 from @byrnesbaseball that has a bright future. Stays on the ball well and drives it to all parts of the field. Should have a big season at the plate@PBR_SC @_17CO_ pic.twitter.com/5noEOkkmzj

‘26 IF Carver Youngblood (@HHSRamsBaseball) had an impressive showing at the @USAPrime_SC scout day in September and has continued to improve. Advanced at the plate with plenty of potential in the rest of his game. @PBR_SC @_17CO_ pic.twitter.com/dF7bC26KWn
