Lexington  9  Clover  3

The 5A District 2 championship game pitted two top arms from the state against each other with both being Gamecock baseball commits.  Lexington jumped out to an early lead before Clover put up a 3 spot to take the lead.  That lead was short lived as Lexington came storming back to take the lead for good in the bottom of the 5th and added 3 more insurance runs in the 6th to take the commanding lead.
