Preview: 2021 PBR SC & NC ProCase

Brandon Hall
Mid-Atlantic Executive Director

For the first time in South Carolina, PBR is hosting a ProCase, set to feature some of the top players in the Carolinas.  An event driven to give some early exposure to pro scouts, as they build their spring plans, the PBR ProCase will feature a full workout for the players involved.  Position players will take extensive BP, gathering pre-contact metrics with Blast Motion and ball flight metrics with TrackMan.  Pitchers will throw a controlled bullpen with TrackMan measuring velocity, spin, movement metrics and more.

While this is the first ProCase in SC, the 2021 winter schedule marks the 4th year of the ProCase in NC.  Due to a late spring start for the public schools in the Tarheel state, the NC ProCase was pushed until late March.  With private school players rolling in a few weeks, the ProCase in Lexington, SC becomes their chance to showcase where they are for pro scouts ahead of their spring season.
