Player of the Week nominations are submitted by High School coaches across South Carolina each week.  Along with the nominations, Prep Baseball Report is diving into box scores, talking to coaches and scouts, and attending as many games as possible.

PBR's staff sifts through the information sent in and seen by our scouts to determine the PBR Player of the Week every Tuesday.  You can see a full list of players off to a hot start in Diamond Notes, a collection of notes, stats, and highlights from the past week, published every Wednesday during the season.

Pitcher of the Week - April 10 - April 15, 2023

This Coastal Carolina Commit arm got the ball against a an out of state school.  Against Bishop O'Connell, this pitcher threw a gem on the night, going 7 innings giving up 2 hits, 0 runs and struck out 19 batters. 

Player of the Week - April 10 - April 15, 2023

Aydin Palmer, LHP/OF, South Florence High School, 2023

This Florence Darlington Commit shinned on the baseball field last week.  Palmer was unbelievable this week as he had 4 homeruns in 4 games as well as 5 innings pitched striking out 15 of a possible 15 outs.  He had a great 4 games at the plate and on the mound.
