Player of the Week nominations are submitted by High School coaches across South Carolina each week.  Along with the nominations, Prep Baseball Report is diving into box scores, talking to coaches and scouts, and attending as many games as possible.

PBR's staff sifts through the information sent in and seen by our scouts to determine the PBR Player of the Week every Tuesday.  You can see a full list of players off to a hot start in Diamond Notes, a collection of notes, stats, and highlights from the past week, published every Wednesday during the season.

Pitcher of the Week - April 17 - April 22, 2023

Keagan Brown, RHP, St. James, 2024

 

This uncommitted arm got the ball against one of top teams in area.  Against Carolina Forest, this pitcher threw a gem on the night, throwing a 1 hit complete game shutout with 8 strikeouts and 0 walks.  Had a perfect game through 5 innings and only allowed an infield single in the 6th inning.

Player of the Week - April 17 - April 22, 2024

Brayden Renfrow, OF, Greenville High School, 2023

This uncommitted player shinned on the baseball field last week.  Renfrow was unbelievable this week as he went 4-7, 3B, 2 HR, 6R, 9 RBI’s, 3 BB’s, 3 SB’s.  Big time week for this young man.
