Thomas Skipper would lead his team to victory on the mound and at the plate, pitching a complete game only surrendering two runs in the first inning. Lake View bats stayed hot throughout the game hitting 2 Home Runs and by being discipline at the plate drawing walks. Lake View would pull away from Southside Christian starting in the 4th inning scoring 2 runs, then 3 in the 5th, and 4 in the 6th.
