Dorman  6     Hillcrest 5

On the back of some strong starting pitching, Dorman outlasted Hillcrest 6 to 5 on Senior night at Dorman. Hillcrest came out swinging with 2 first inning runs, only to be matched in the bottom half with a solo shot from States Farr and a two-run bomb from Braylon Dean. Logan McGarity paced the Cavs over 4.2 IP, followed by Christian Musselwhite to close it out over the final 2.1. Dorman held off the late Hillcrest rally to secure the victory.

States Farr, 2026, SS, Dorman
Coastal Carolina recruit. Wiry & athletic frame with present strength. Switch hitter. At the plate shows balance and rhythm in pre-swing movements from the left side. Twitchy hand speed in the zone with a short path. Does a nice job clearing his lead arm allowing for an adjustable barrel. Posted a 4.22 run time to 1B on a ground ball and stole a base. Also fielded six chances at short to each side with ease, doesn’t get sped up. Energetic on and off the field. Excited to watch him compete at the next level.
