Day 1 of the 2018 PBR Future Games featured some of the most impressive performances in the event’s history. Players from 36 states all gathered at Grand Park in Indianapolis to showcase their skills in front of hundreds of college coaches who lined the back stop in search for future game changers. Below are just a small sampling of players who had impressive days, and are prospects to watch moving forward into game action. It is important to note that with more than 400 players in action, there are many not on this list who also had outstanding days.

Lonnie White Jr. OF / 3B / Malvern Prep, PA / 2021

Arguably the biggest breakout performance of the opening day of the Future Games came from White, who ran a 6.58 60-yard dash, and peppered firm line drives all over the field. Physically gifted with a 6-foot-3, 185-pound frame White’s athleticism carries over at the plate where he remains balanced throughout his swing while showcasing quick, twitchy hands and a flat path. His hands load fluently down and back with a leg kick before he works level through the zone with a high finish.
