5-foot-11, 150-pound, RHH shows the ability to stay at SS at the next level w/ easy arm strength. Medium, athletic frame w/ lean strength, some physical projection. Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into proper stride and short hand load. Generates bat speed through the zone. All fields approach w/ lot of line drives when right. Occasional length. Projectable pull power as frame matures. Projectable above average runner. Defensively, moves well w/ soft hands and easy arm strength. Shows ability to make throws from any slot. In game, attacked the baseball while putting himself in position to field the right hops. True SS whose frame and bat development will determine overall upside.
SS intrigued with a strong I/O and followed it up with a no doubt home run in his first at bat, has made a jump. Medium, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, projectable. Has definitely put on some muscle since this evaluator’s last look. Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, very slightly crouched stance w/ some hand movement into knee to knee stride and short hand load. Generates above average bat speed through the zone. Looking to punish the baseball more then he has in the past. Up the middle approach w/ natural loft. Present power to the pull side, chance for power to all fields. Defensively, stands out with easy arm strength, solid footwork and soft hands. Was not tested in game, tools to stay on the left side of the infield, actions to stay at SS.
