Tennessee Senior Games: Quick Hits

Nashville, TN — The Tennessee Senior Games was held at CPA in Nashville, TN on September 5th that featured some top remaining uncommtted talent from the 2027 class. Players went through a pro-style workout with TrackMan, Blast Motion, and VALD Performance tech, while pitchers threw in a bullpen setting and were able to get data and metrics on our TrackMan unit.
Some prospects built on past showings, while others made strong first impressions. We continue our post-event coverage with a look at some of the top performers from the event, with more breakdowns and full scouting reports coming soon.

2027 OF Hudson Snell: Snell immediately stands out with an imposing 6-foot-4, 212-pound frame and backed up the physicality with one of the stronger offensive rounds of the event. The right-handed hitter produced a 99 mph max exit velocity while averaging 86.9 mph off the bat, showing the ability to impact the baseball with authority. He reached a 334-foot max batted-ball distance and carried that impact into gameplay, where he demolished a ball off the center-field wall for a stand-up double, providing an impressive look at his ability to translate the raw power into game action. Snell also recorded an 80 mph arm while posting a 7.31-second 60-yard dash with a 1.69 10-yard split. The combination of size, present strength and in-game impact gives Snell an intriguing offensive profile heading into his senior season at Collierville.
2027 OF JP Chupp. The 5-foot-8, 200-pound Chupp showed a physical left-handed offensive profile during his workout. He reached an 88 mph max exit velocity with a max batted-ball distance of 258 feet, displaying present strength from the left side. Chupp's bat continued to produce during the gameplay portion of the event, where he collected a single and a double, showing the ability to translate his offensive approach into game action. Chupp ran a 7.39-second 60-yard dash with a 1.68 10-yard split and also showed some of his better tools defensively, producing a 79 mph arm. A physical left-handed bat with positional versatility, Chupp heads into his senior campaign with an intriguing foundation to build upon.
2027 IF Caleb Van Lant delivered one of the loudest athletic performances of the entire event. The 6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitter blazed to a 6.44-second 60-yard dash, including an explosive 1.57-second 10-yard split, immediately establishing himself as one of the premier runners in attendance. His athleticism was further supported by a 27.2-inch vertical jump. The offensive performance was equally impressive, as Van Lant averaged 90.6 mph off the bat, reached a 95 mph max exit velocity, and drove his best ball 364 feet. He also showcased an 85 mph arm defensively. The combination of elite speed, consistent hard contact and arm strength made Van Lant one of the more complete performers at the Senior Games and gives the Farragut product an exciting tool set entering his senior season.
2027 OF/C Carter McCallum put together an impressive all-around workout highlighted by athleticism and consistent offensive impact. The 5-foot-7, 160-pound right-handed hitter ran a 6.79-second 60-yard dash with a 1.68 10-yard split while also recording an impressive 29.1-inch vertical jump. At the plate, McCallum generated an 86.7 mph average exit velocity, topped at 92 mph, and reached a max distance of 334 feet, showing quality impact despite his smaller frame. Defensively, he showcased an 81 mph arm, with another recorded throwing mark of 80 mph. McCallum's combination of speed, explosiveness and barrel impact made for a strong showing and highlighted an athletic profile that can impact the game in multiple ways.
2027 C Tristen Keesee: Keesee turned in one of the stronger offensive and defensive performances among the catchers in attendance. The physical 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitter produced a 96 mph max exit velocity while averaging an impressive 88.9 mph, consistently generating firm contact throughout his round. His best ball traveled 334 feet, giving another glimpse of the strength within the offensive profile. Keesee also showed quality athleticism for the position, running a 6.94-second 60-yard dash with a 1.68 10-yard split. Behind the plate, he recorded 1.85-1.98 pop times with a 78 mph catcher velocity, demonstrating solid catch-and-throw ability to complement the bat. The combination of physicality, offensive impact, sub-7.00 speed and defensive tools behind the plate made Keesee a notable performer from the event.
2027 INF Gabe Hendriks is an intriguing uncommitted power bat that put on a show in BP with a good feel for the barrel and the ability to stay on plane with low line drives. Gabe consistently showed gap to gap power with impressive balance. Defensively, Gabe profiles as a true third baseman with a strong glove and 91 mph arm across the infield. In game play, Gabe continued to impress by smoking multiple balls to the middle of the field. Always a highly productive hitter that should lead to Gabe being a middle of the order bat at the next level. Standing at 6’1 185 lbs, Gabe has a chance to add more strength to his frame that would allow him to maximize his power ceiling.
2027 OF/LHP Aiden Cano showed off some of his loud tools with the best being his speed, posting a 6.57 60 time. Although standing at only 5’5, Aiden weighs 155 lbs and has a strong build which plays much bigger in game. At the plate, Aiden hits left-handed and has sneaky pop with a strong base and an ability to stay inside the baseball with quick twitch. In the field, Aiden has a strong arm up to 87 mph. In game, Aiden sprayed a triple down the left field line showing his ability to use the whole field. Aiden is a super competitive top of the order hitter that will make an immediate impact for whoever snatches him up.
2027 C/OF Austin Lenerville is a relatively unknown prospect that has just recently made a big jump with an impressive spring for Franklin High School. At the plate, Austin has extremely quick hands that help him pull and elevate the baseball with ease. In the field, Austin’s athleticism allows him to play the outfield and catcher. In the outfield, Austin showcased clean actions with an arm up to 87 mph. Behind the plate, Austin had a pop time at 1.87 and an impressive 74 mph velo. In the game, Austin showed off some easy pop with a bomb. Standing at 5’11 155 lbs, Austin has so much more room for strength and could very well turn into a power hitting catcher at the next level.
2027 MIF Hudson Wright is the definition of a gamer. We have had the opportunity to see Hudson in game multiple times and he is a hit machine. Profiles primarily as a top of the order hitter with his ability to get on base and steal bags. In the field, Hudson absolutely shines and looks the part as a true shortstop with advanced actions with soft hands and big range. Hudson stands at 5’9 170 lbs and has a strong, athletic frame. At the next level, Hudson is a player that will make an immediate impact with a high baseball IQ and the ability to play a premium position.
2027 INF/OF Nash Martinez is a twitchy left handed bat who showed a good feel for the barrel during the showcase portion. In the field, Nash has a big arm with the ability to play anywhere on the field. From the outfield, Nash was up to 92 mph with more in the tank. Nash also showed good speed with a 6.96 60 time. Nash stands at 5’11 166 lbs with long limbs and a lot more room to add strength. Nash is a rare left-handed hitter with athleticism and options defensively, which should make him a sought after uncommitted senior.
2027 OF Bishop Vines: The uncommitted senior outfielder put together a solid overall showing, displaying athleticism and intriguing tools throughout the event. Vines posted a 7.12 60-yard dash with a 3.89 30-yard split and an impressive 1.68 10-yard split, showing quick acceleration out of the gate. The right-handed hitter produced a 94 MPH Max EV, while showing the ability to consistently work the middle of the field during his round. Defensively, Vines reached 85 MPH from the outfield, adding another quality piece to his overall profile. At 5-foot-10, 160 pounds, Vines remains an athletic uncommitted 2027 to follow as he enters his senior season.
2027 OF Wyatt Ayers: The uncommitted senior has been a big contributor to Columbia Academy over the years on two state championship runs. On Saturday, he put together a strong all-around showing, displaying a well-rounded collection of tools throughout the event. Ayers turned in a 6.99 60-yard dash with a 3.89 30-yard split and 1.68 10-yard split, showing quality athleticism and acceleration at 5-foot-10, 181 pounds. The right-handed hitter produced a 98 MPH Max EVwhile reaching a 346-foot max batted-ball distance, showcasing present strength and impact off the barrel. Defensively, Ayers showed versatility with arm strength across the diamond, reaching 87 MPH from the outfield. An athletic, physical uncommitted 2027 with a combination of speed, power and defensive versatility that makes him an intriguing senior follow.
2027 RHP Moxon Montieth: The uncommitted senior right-hander showed an intriguing three-pitch mix during his outing, working the fastball at 83–85 MPH and topping at 87. Montieth generated quality spin on the heater, reaching 2,551 RPM, while showing the ability to attack the zone and work off the pitch. His breaking ball operated at 73–74 MPH with spin up to 2,513 RPM, giving him a quality secondary offering with the ability to miss barrels. He rounded out the arsenal with a 76 MPH changeup, giving him a third look to keep hitters off balance. At 6-foot, 165 pounds, Montieth has room to continue adding strength to the frame, making him an uncommitted senior arm to follow.
2027 RHP Lucas McEnamy: The uncommitted senior right-hander showed plenty to like on the mound, starting with a projectable 6-foot-4, 192-pound frame and a quality three-pitch mix. McEnany worked the fastball at 85–88 MPH, topping at 89, generating up to 2,334 RPM with 17.9 inches of induced vertical break. His breaking ball worked at 76–77 MPH with spin up to 2,414 RPM, giving him a quality secondary offering with sharp action, while a 74 MPH changeup rounded out the arsenal and showed significant horizontal movement. With his combination of size, present stuff and remaining projection, McEnany is an intriguing uncommitted senior arm to follow heading into the spring.
2027 RHP Trip Fowler: The uncommitted senior showed an intriguing two-way profile with plenty of projection remaining in his 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame. At the plate, Fowler produced a 90 MPH Max EV with a 319-foot max batted-ball distance, while also showing arm strength defensively with an 88 MPH outfield velocity. On the mound, the right-hander worked the fastball at 81–85 MPH, topping at 87, with up to 2,137 RPM and 16.9 inches of induced vertical break. Fowler paired the heater with a high-spin 63–65 MPH breaking ball that reached 2,488 RPM, giving him a quality secondary offering with depth. With present arm strength, two-way ability and room to continue adding strength, Fowler is an intriguing uncommitted senior to follow heading into the spring.
