There were many solid performances turned in, including some by players attending their first PBR event who opened some eyes. The complete statistics and top statistical performers from the event were previously posted. You can CLICK HERE to view that information.

The following is a look at the Team Navy pitchers who participated in the event. This is pitcher analysis only. Those pitchers who also participated as a position player at the event had their position player performance featured in a previous article.

Trey Oglesby, Carter HS, 2018, RHP
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound RHP jumped into the 2018 rankings with his performance at the event. Oglesby shows a loose arm that works through a ¾ slot, regular effort in delivery with a slight pause after reaching balance point, fastball sat 82-83 mph topping at 84 with occasional arm-side run. He showed a tight spinning curveball that had a sharp 10/4 break to it at 72-74 mph. He also flashed a changeup that had gradual sinking action to it at 68-70 mph. Oglesby had two strikeouts in one inning pitched during game play and is definitely a 2018 prospect to keep a close eye on for velocity gains.

Ethan Tressler, Davidson Academy, 2017, RHP
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect showed a lower arm slot than in the past that creates effective arm-side run and sink on fastball, low-3/4 to ¾ slot with some quickness in arm, fastball sat 78-80 mph (80-83 at previous event).
