Most Viewed Player Profiles of 2014: No. 6 Zach Linginfelter

By Doug Hall
Tennessee Director of Scouting

As you well know, PBR Tennessee began operations in 2014, and we felt it would be interesting to take a look at the ten most viewed Tennessee player profiles on the PBR website since we began operations.

Though we began scouting games and providing information on players in the late spring and early summer, we didn't run our first event in the state until August 24. Therefore, as we look at the ten most viewed profiles from 2014, it will only include profile views from August 24 to now.

Interest in the 6-foot-4, 210-pound RHP really took off this summer as Linginfelter showed dominant stuff.  With his size and a fastball that has topped at 93 mph, Linginfelter proved himself to be a power pitcher at the next level and several high-profile Division I programs took notice.  He also features a high 70's power breaking ball and an effective low 80's changeup that keeps hitters off-balance.  Linginfelter, who committed to Tennessee in the fall, claimed the No. 1 spot in the Tennessee class of 2016 rankings when they were released earlier this month and is ranked No. 6 in the PBR overall rankings.
