On Tuesday, we headed to Siegel for their match-up against Riverdale.  A game that featured all it’s scoring early and late while settling into a good tempo in the middle innings, Riverdale won it 4-2, coming back with 3 runs in the top of the 7th.  Read up on the standouts below:

BRETT DINGESS / SS / 2B / RIVERDALE, TN / 2019

1-3, BB

Uncommitted shortstop made a couple nice plays defensively, showing off his ranginess, while showing an intriguing all-around skillset.  Medium, athletic frame w/ some well-proportioned present strength, projectable.  Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into proper stride and load.  Simple, repeatable swing w/ bat speed through the zone.  All fields approach w/ lot of line drives when right.  Knack for contact.  Gap power type w/ projectable pull power.  Just a baseball player, understands the game and executes a number of little things, including understanding when to drag bunt to steal a hit.  Defensively, shows first step quickness to both sides w/ body control, soft hands and projectable carry to target arm strength.
