On Tuesday, we headed to Lincoln County High School for their district matchup with Tullahoma.  Tullahoma withstood a late Lincoln County push in the 7th and won it 5-4.  This was our 2nd look at Tullahoma this spring, previously seen here (https://www.prepbaseballreport.com/news/PBR/PLUS-Game-Report-Shelbyville--Tullahoma-5726038419) and the writeups will be a little shorter.  Read up on standouts below:

JACKSON COTHREN / RHP / 1B / LINCOLN COUNTY, TN / 2020

FB (88-90, T91 twice), CB (74-77), CH (82-84)

Memphis commit touched 91 twice while showing ability to fill the zone w/ 3 projectable above average pitches.  Prototypical pitcher frame, tall, athletic w/ some well-proportioned present strength throughout, projectable.  Has a chance to be a monster physically.  Pitches from a full wind-up into ¾ to H ¾ release from the first base side of the rubber.  Super quick arm.  Simple, repeatable delivery w/ some effort in the throw.  Angle.  FB shows occasional arm-side run.  Tight medium downer CB w/ above average depth, late bite.  Swing and miss type of pitch, generated 8 swing and misses on 17 swings on this day.  CH was inconsistent on this day, throws a modified split, showed occasional dive, would flatten out at times and be a straight CH.  FB arm-speed.  Around the zone w/ his 3-pitch mix, projects to command, 62 of 94 for strikes.  Generated 13 swing and misses on 48 swings.
