On the heels of Jared Shemper’s selection a few weeks ago, for the second time this year a Christian Brothers pitcher has earned our Pitcher of the Week award.

On Thursday, April 14, junior Weston Bizzle, a Vanderbilt commit, took the mound against Munford and turned in a dominant performance. The right-hander fired a complete game, two-hit shutout while issuing just two walks and racking up 19 strikeouts in the 2-0 victory. Bizzle is currently ranked No. 4 in Tennessee’s 2017 class and No. 46 in the PBR overall rankings.

For his outstanding performance on the field, Christian Brothers 2017 RHP Weston Bizzle has been selected the PBR Tennessee Pitcher of the Week for April 11-16.
