Nashville Christian concluded a 4-0 week last week that included two wins over Ezell-Harding and two wins over Houston County as the Eagles scored double digit runs in each victory. Shortstop Zell Walker was instrumental in leading the offensive attack as Nashville Christian improved to 9-2 on the season.

Walker went 9-for-10 with three doubles, two triples, a home run, and 6 RBI. While six of his nine hits went for extra bases, he also scored four runs and drew four walks, making his on base percentage an astounding .929 for the week. Walker is signed to continue his education and baseball career at Tennessee Tech.

For his outstanding performance on the field, Nashville Christian 2016 SS Zell Walker has been selected the PBR Tennessee Player of the Week for March 28-April 2.
