TN Game Report: Loretto @ Shelbyville

On Friday, we traveled to Shelbybille Central for their doubleheader matchup against Loretto.  This was a solid night overall, with temperatures beginning in the 60’s and settling into the high 50’s as the night went along.  Loretto was previously evaluated here.  Read up on standouts below and check out the Twitter feed for video highlights.


FB (85-89, T90 twice), CB (69-72), CH (69-71)

-       5 IP, 9 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 5 K

Tennessee commit flashed 3 above average pitches.  Medium, athletic frame w/ some lean strength, lot of projection, long and lanky.  Pitches from a full wind-up and over the top release.  Some effort in throw w/ downhill plane.  Straight FB showed occasional arm-side run at the low end of the velo range.  Medium downer CB flashed above average w/ late bite, above average depth.  CH w/ occasional arm-speed, fade and sink.  Showed ability to get big velo differential with arm-speed.  Around the zone w/ 3 pitch mix, projects to command.  Generated 13 swing and misses on 38 swings.
