Scouting Report

6-foot, 145-pound southpaw out of Pigeon Forge HS showed out at Knoxville Fall Scout Day.  The freshman has high-waisted, wiry frame w/ good projectability. Quiet, repeatable delivery w/ good rhythm and quick arm.  Does an excellent job of getting downhill and good extension. Fastball worked 80-82 w/ great life and some arm-side action.  Can really spin the curveball at 68-69 w/ sharp 1/7 bite, certainly a S/M offering.  Showed advanced feel for changeup at 70-72 w/ good deception and fade away from RHH.  Impressive command of all three pitches, working consistently down in the zone.  Showed good athleticism during position player workout, but future most likely on the mound at next level.  Although a young arm, proved to be very advanced and showcasing a high-ceiling moving forward.
