Tennessee Director of Scouting Adam Akin Moving On

Adam Akin is stepping down as Director of Scouting effective August 14, 2017 to pursue opportunities outside of baseball.

Akin has done an outstanding job over the last 15 months in the position. He quickly entrenched himself into the Tennessee baseball scene, becoming a point of contact for college coaches while putting out consistent scouting content on players in the state. We thank Akin for his work and wish him well in his future endeavors.

Akin had this to say about his time with Prep Baseball Report.

"I've enjoyed my time with Prep Baseball Report and the relationships I've been able to establish along the way.  Being a part of the PBR family was a great experience and I am proud to have been able to contribute to the most personal, professional, and accurate scouting service in the country.  I was able to establish some great relationships with players, coaches, and parents throughout the state, and look forward to keeping those intact."

"I'm looking forward to the opportunities that have presented themselves and am excited to continue helping people while staying connected to the baseball and sports communities.  I am thankful for the faith Chris Fuller and Sean Duncan showed in me, by allowing me to cover the state of Tennessee and will be very excited for whoever is allowed that opportunity next."

An announcement will be made soon on the next PBR Tennessee Director of Scouting. Stay tuned.
