Scouting Director Notes

"6-foot-1, 210-pound Harrison Freeman stood out on both sides of the ball at the All-State Underclass date.  On the bump, the southpaw posted the top velo at 82, while commanding the zone at 80-82 w/ some life and ASR action. Threw hard, 1/7 breaking ball at 71-73 w/ swing n’ miss potential and feel command.  Some feel for a fading changeup at 70-71 that works well off the FB.  At the dish, LHH strong stance w/ quick load and explosive bat speed.  Making consistent loud contact, clubbing baseballs gap-to-gap.  Defensively, moved well around the bag at first base.  Profile projects as legitimate lefty two-way prospect, who brings level of physicality to both sides." - Colton Provey

6-foot-1, 210-pound  solid frame. At the plate, the left-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 91 mph. Started in a strong stance, had a small load and used a short stride before his swing. Has explosive bat speed. Showed a lot of loud contact during the round. Gap to gap approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 73 mph; has a quick exchange. Showed a ¾ slot. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.31. Projectable on the mound, showing quick arm speed used a high ¾ angle with a loose arm action. He is a feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Has a strong balance point with even shoulders. Lands square. His fastball sat 80-82 mph and topped out at 82 mph; had running action and around the zone command with some movement. His 1/7 curveball (71-73) shows low in the zone command. He shows fading action on his changeup(70-71). 

Positional_Profile: 1B/LHP

Body: 6-foot-1, 210-pound solid frame

Hit: LHH. Strong stance, small load, short stride stride. Explosive bat speed. 

Power: 91  mph exit velocity.  gap to gap approach. 

Defense: 73 infield velocity. Quick exchange. 

Arm: LH. ¾ slot. 

Pitching: Projectable overall action. Feel delivery, some effort. High ¾ arm angle, quick arm speed, loose arm  action. 

FB: T82. 80-82 mph. Running action, around the zone accuracy, some movement. 

CB: 71-73 mph. Low in the zone accuracy, 1/7 movement. 

CH: 70-71 mph. Fading action.
