With the fall coming to an end and with the winter approaching, the 2024 high school spring season is just around the corner. The Prep Baseball Tennessee staff had a very successful fall campaign as we were able to host the Tennessee Fall ID, Tennessee Senior Games, Southeast Senior Games, and we even added an event in the Johnson City area where we hosted the East Tennessee Fall ID. To go along with these events, our staff put on 10 Scout Days throughout the state with several different travel organizations from East, Middle and West parts of the state.

Today, we are going to take a look back on our fall schedule and highlight 15 uncommitted pitcher that made an impression on our staff. Below you will find scout notes, video and more on positional player standouts from the fall.

UNCOMMITTED FALL STANDOUTS: PITCHERS

2024's

Hayden Stranak: Left-handed pitcher that has some length to him at 6 foot 2 and 165 pounds. Easy and effortless velocity that came in at 84-86 mph with really quality spin at low to mid 2200’s on his four-seam. Standout from the TN Senior Games where he pitched two innings. Struggled some with command against lefty hitters early but bounced back impressively from there to shut out the side with multiple strikeouts in inning 2. That is something that always stands out when a pitcher is able to control himself and continue to put up quality innings after maybe struggling the first inning. I truly believe that is a testament to his demeanor. Displayed a decent shape CB but could look to stay on top of that pitch more for additional vertical drop, however the spin shape is there and just needs fine-tuning. Overall had a really impressive outing and will be looking for a home at the next level.
