OUTLOOK:
Battlefield is poised to make a run at a State Championship this year in the 6A.  Even after losing left-handed pitchers Nick Wells (3rd Round/Toronto Blue Jays) and Joe Williams (George Mason), the Bobcats will continue the tradition of having quality arms on the mound.  The emergence of seniors Logan Bruckschen (RHP) and Colin Brown (RHP, Catholic), and high-end juniors Jake Agnos (LHP, East Carolina) and Keagan McGinnis (RHP, Virginia Tech) should make it difficult to score runs for opposing teams.  Filling the spot behind the plate, that the talented UNC-Wilmington signee Nick Feight held for two season, will be sophomore prospect Tyler Solomon (C/1B, Vanderbilt).  The Bobcats will rely on pitching, defense, speed, and power as they look to win the Cedar Run District.
