As we enter February, the high school season is quickly approaching. As the month progresses and February turns into March, we will take a look at high school programs throughout our coverage area as they prepare for the 2016 season.

SEASON OUTLOOK
Halifax is coming off of a solid 2015 season that saw the Comets advance to the Regional Tournament. The 2016 Comets will be a young team that has a strong team defense and a good pitching staff with Abbott anchoring the rotation. If the Comets’ young talent can grow up quickly, Halifax will likely return to the 5A North playoffs and be very dangerous.
