Myles Mensah (SS, 2016, Hofstra) Mensah is a skilled defender who hit .250 in 2016 while driving in twelve runs. Mensah is currently ranked 90th in the VA/DC Class of 2016 Rankings.
Cam Remalia (RHP/3B, 2016, Coastal Carolina) Remalia is a strong corner infielder who is also a three-year starter. He hit .297 last year and went 4-1 on the mound with a 1.25 ERA. Remalia is ranked 28th in the VA/DC Class of 2016 Rankings.
Josh Simon (RHP/C, 2016, VCU) Simon is a three-year starter for the Cadets that hit .297 in 2015 with 26 RBIs. Simon will transition behind the plate this spring after playing in the outfield last year while his older brother caught. Simon is currently ranked 20th in the VA/DC Class of 2016 Rankings.
Jake Steinberg (RHP/IF, 2018, Miami) Steinberg has a big fastball and a ton of potential. He went 3-1 with a 0.98 ERA as a freshman in 2015 and is currently ranked 8th in the VA/DC Class of 2018 Rankings.
Alex Taylor (LHP/OF, 2016, Potomac State) Taylor is coming off of a 2015 campaign that saw him hit .298 for the Cadets with 15 RBI and 8 stolen bases.

Sam Brustad (OF, 2016, McDaniel)
Ethan Forbes (LHP, 2018, Virginia) Forbes is currently ranked 11th in the VA/DC Class of 2018 Rankings.
Zeke Gongola (RHP, 2018, Maryland) Gongola is currently ranked 13th in the VA/DC Class of 2018 Rankings.
Bruce Hudson (SS, 2017, Radford)
Jack Roberts (SS, 2017, Elon)

St. John’s is coming off a dominant 2015 season that saw the Cadets win the WCAC regular season comfortably and also win the WCAC Tournament Championship as St. John’s finished the season at No. 6 in the PBR VA/DC Power 25. The 2016 Cadets bring back 17 players from the 2015, including three of their top five arms and six position players that made at least ten starts. The Cadets’ lineup will be hurt by the graduation of table-setter Brian Tagoe (OF, LaSalle) and AJ Lee (SS, Maryland), but otherwise will be very deep and experienced with threats in every spot in the lineup. St. John’s stable of pitching talent is beyond ludicrous, and is easily the best in the WCAC. Look for St. John’s to again be one of the top teams in the always-competitive WCAC this spring and one of the most complete and talented squads in our coverage area.
