MD Fall Invite 11/4/17

Athletic frame at 6-foot, 160-pounds. Quick, compact delivery with tempo and a high leg kick. Sinks into his lower half with drive from the backside. Sound, quick arm action throwing from a lower three quarter slot. Creates arm speed while pitching with regular effort. Gets nice backside involvement through release and spins off slightly to first base in finish. throws four-seem and two-seem fastball, four seam has slight run to the pitch while the two-seam gets more sinking action on the pitch. Fastball up to 82 mph. Breaking ball has short 10/4 action on the pitch and potential as a put away pitch at 75 mph. Change shows fade on the pitch at 76 mph. Very interesting prospect in the 2020 class and should continue to improve.

1.29.17:  Satterfield is 5-11 with a lanky frame, throws from low three-quarters arm slot with a longer, loose arm that is quick, normal effort. Shoulders closed and level, lands square with athletic finish. Fastball had late hard run and was 72-75. Downer curveball ran 65-68. Hits from the right side from a crouched loaded stance, short leg kick stride on line, loads back in rhythm into a slight wrap. Ok lower half and balance, level path with extension, line drive hitter that worked gap to gap with some bat speed and power potential, exit velocity was 79. In the outfield, average hands, clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot with a short arm action, position velocity of 72.
