Fall Tournament Standouts Part IV

Nathan Rode and PBR Staff

The Hotlist continues to look at standouts from the latest PBR Tournaments.

Ethan Anderson, C, Cox HS, VA (2022)
A Virginia recruit, Anderson has a physical presence with defined strength throughout his 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame. He’s a switch-hitter with solid bat speed and balance from both sides of the plate. He shows the ability to hit to all fields and with power. A solid athlete, he moves fine for size, getting down the line in 4.6 seconds from the left side. He had five hits at the Upperclass Fall World Series, including two doubles and a triple.

Drew Christo, RHP, Elkhorn HS, NE (2021)
Christo has a strong, durable frame at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds. Loose and athletic delivery in his delivery, the Nebraska recruit gets good extension (7 feet or better). His fastball ranged from 87-92 with 2300+ rpm for Team Elite Black at the Upperclass Fall World Series. His slider was 77-82 with gyro spin at times, but it also flashed hard, late sweep. The changeup was 80-82. He struck out five and allowed just one hit in three innings.
