The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for rising junior and select rising sophomore prospects. This year close to 200 college and professional scouts from all over the country were in attendance. The Prep Baseball Report services are subscribed by more than 700 colleges and professional scouts.

2016 was the second year PBR Maryland and Virginia were part of the Future Games, this year forming Team Mid-Atlantic, who also included North Carolina.

SCOUTING REPORT

8.4.16 -    Camden Grimes showed off the second best infield velocity of the event throwing 90 mph across the diamond from third base. He showed nice lateral quickness and soft hands. Grimes ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. He has a level, slightly uphill swing path at the plate with an exit velocity of 87. Although he did not play the position during the Future Games, Grimes can also catch
