Mid-Atlantic Procase Spotlight: Christian Gordon

The Second Annual Mid-Atlantic procase is set to take place on Saturday, February 9th at Tuckahoe Sports Institute in Henrico, VA. Top prospects from the 2019 class and select underclassmen from around the Mid-Atlantic region will be there to showcase their ability in front of the PBR scouting staff as well as MLB Organizations. Today we highlight a player who will be attending.

Preseason All-State 2/17/18
Gordon is 6-0 with an athletic frame that has some projection left to it. Throws from a higher three-quarters arm slot, longer arm action that is free and a quick arm, throws with normal effort. Shoulders uphill and closed, lands square with a slight fall off finish. Fastball 84-86 with good downward angle and some late sink. Curveball was 70-72 12/6 or 1/7 break depending on side of plate he threw too, late hard break to it and some armspeed. Change-up was 77-79 with some armspeed and hard late run to it.
