Preston Crowl 3B / RHP / Franklin County, VA / 2023

Touched 91.6, had 16" of lift, the most at the event, and had a somewhat low release. Up to 17-18" of lift, not much lateral movement. Some ride at times but the shape is more dependent on his velocity rather than release/movement. Gets plenty of drop and sweep in the low-70s on curve, threw some hard at 74-75 but majority were low-70s. Gets double-digit HB, some fade/depth with change and an 11-13 mph drop-off from four-seam.

Joe Fredericks LHP / Pro 5 Academy NC, VA / 2023

His low slot allows his sinker to play in all three height quadrants within zone. Kills lift to create sink and gets 18-20" of run at 84-86, hit 86.9. Has a slow breaker but plenty of movement, 13.3" of sweep with lift at 71-73. He gets 31-35" of horizontal separation between the sinker/sweeper. His change nearly gets negative VB, plenty of depth/fade, 20+ inches of fade at times but on average in the 17-18" range.

JJ Glasscock RHP / Fluvanna County, VA / 2023

Lot of supination in profile, has feel for nasty upper-70s curve with high efficiency and double-digit VB and HB. Has 15" of sweep and gets roughly 50" of drop with -14" of IVB. Throws it hard with plenty of movement. His heater varies between 1:15 and 1:45 with not enough ride or run, but he does flash above-average IVB at times. Likely needs to push it into a sinker due to the supination-heavy profile. Has a power-slurve in low-80s, up to 81.7, it has 9" of sweep on average with as much as 15", gets some drop on it. Both breakers could be plus-pitches. Change movement varies, he'll get some late fade due to the low spin efficiency, throws it at 1:45 with 8" of fade and kills lift.

Aidan Smith RHP / RHP / Good Counsel , MD / 2023

Up to 93.5, sat in the low-90s, has low spin efficiency on heater and tends to cut it, lacks ride or run, would benefit from trying to sink it with his wrist orientation. Has a power-slurve in the low-80s, gets slight drop with 6-8" of sweep, up to 81.2 with it. Really good feel for supination, a lot of upside with his secondaries due to it. Has a really good splitter action. Low spin efficiency, his spin direction moves counter-clockwise and gains efficiency as it gets closer to home, leading to late depth. He gets just 4" of arm side run, the entire shape is downward.
