On Wednesday, September 23, Pinnacle Prospects held a Scout Day with PBR in attendance to take stats and video of all the players that participated. Here are some quick-hitter thoughts on players who stood out at the event:

-Trey Burton, 1B, Courtland, 2021 put on a show during batting practice. He has a ton of raw power to all fields from the left side, with easy home run power everywhere. Also moves well and ran a 7.38 60.

-Ethan Goldberg, OF/RHP, Courtland, 2021 had a strong day all around. He ran a 7.27 and threw 84 from the outfield. He has some strength at contact at the plate and he was 80-82, touching 83 on the mound.

-Christion Grzyb, C, Massaponax, 2022 has an athletic frame and solid swing mechanics. Very quick release behind the plate with pop times that were 1.98-2.07 and a catcher velocity of 73.

-Kelly Hackley, 3B, Eastern View, 2021 showed power and strength at the plate as well as versatility in the field, working at third base and the outfield. Exit velocity was 89 on the day but his power plays up to his pull side, where it is easy home run pop.

-Josiah Harrison, OF/RHP, Trinity Episcopal, 2022 was good as he always is. Very athletic frame that still has projection present. Had a loud statistical day, running a 6.88 and throwing 93 from the outfield. Also posted an exit velo of 92 and was 84-85, touching 87 on the mound.

-Jaden Isidro, LHP/1B, Brooke Point, 2022 was 78-82 on the mound with some feel for his offspeed pitches. Also showed a short swing with line drive ability.

-Gavin Riley, LHP/OF, Colonial Forge, 2021 was up to 84 from a low three-quarters slot with some sink to it and some deception as well. He also ran a 7.26 and posted an exit velocity of 87.

-Matthew Rosenbaum, SS, Massaponax, 2022 had an all-around good day. He showed power and arm strength, 84 across the infield playing up to 86 in the outfield. Plenty of pop present with an exit velocity of 94. Also ran a 7.16.

-Michael Shanahan, RHP/1B, Massaponax, 2021 had a big day all around. He showed a strong arm in the outfield where he was up to 88 and his power was present at the plate where he posted an exit velocity of 92. Also has arm strength on the mound where he was 84-86.

-Collin Snyder, C/RHP, Riverbend, 2023 had a strong two-way showing. Athletic frame with strength present and projection left to it. Was up to 83 on the mound, also has a good swing with a strong contact point and good base. Behind the plate, pops were 1.98-2.09 with a strong arm, 81 on his throw velocity.
