With the Summer in our rear view and fall in full swing, we take time out to highlight our events from this past summer. We are going to highlight some of the top performances of the summer by prospects that attended PBR events. Today we continue our Summer Recap series looking at the top infielders.

Tanner Morris SS Miller School 2017 (Virginia commit)

5.22.16 (Pre-Summer Trials) - Hits from a balanced, athletic stance that is slightly crouched. Slight load back with a toe to heel stride that stays on line and controlled. Explosive drive to the ball that maintains balance. Bat exit velocity of 89 MPH with wood. Advanced approach to the round. Short, level swing path that stays through the ball. Line drive hitter with gap power. Advanced hitter with hands that can spray the ball around the park. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot. Arm has life. Positional velocity of 88 MPH. Soft hands with quick, fluid footwork that plays through the ball. Athletic defender.

Camden Grimes 3B Hanover HS 2018
8.4.16 (PBR Future Games) - Camden Grimes showed off one the second best infield velocity of the event throwing 90 mph across the diamond from third base. He showed nice lateral quickness and soft hands. Grimes ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. He has a level, slightly uphill swing path at the plate with an exit velocity of 87. Although he did not play the position during the Future Games, Grimes can also catch

Tevin Tucker SS Prince George HS 2018
8.4.16 (PBR Future Games) -  was one of the top pure infielders at the Future Games. Clean and confident actions, quick hands and smooth exchange with an athletic body. 3/4 arm slot and was 83 across the diamond. Ran a 6.71 60-yard dash. Smooth at the plate. Direct path to ball, slightly uphill. Solid foundation at plate and will get continue to improve there as he gets stronger.

Jack Sroba SS Collegiate School 2017
6.21.16 (Top Prospects North) - Sroba has an athletic 5-10 frame and hits from the left side with a pretty swing. Open, athletic stance, smooth back load with a short stride. Explosive lower half and good balance throughout his swing. Short path with extension, works a bit uphill, exit velocity of 86. Good approach, used the whole field and barreled ball consistently. Line drive swing with a fluid rhythm. Throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, loose arm action that is accurate, position velocity of 77. Soft hands and quick, fluid footwork. Clean, fast exchange and an athletic fielder. Decent speed with a 6.84 60.

Justin Cherry SS North Stafford HS 2017
8.9.16 (Unsigned Senior Games) - Cherry has a short, loose arm action and throws primarily from a high three-quarters arm slot, dropping down occasionally. Strong arm with accuracy and carry, position velocity of 85. Soft hands, quick fluid footwork, and a quick, clean exchange, plays through ball well. Switch hitter, from the right side slightly open athletic stance. Slight load back and short stride, explosive lower half and good balance. Fast bat and level swing path, line drive hitter with a pull approach, exit velocity of 84. From the left side, slight crouch to stance, short leg kick stride and load back. Ok hips and average balance, pull approach and a level swing, exit velocity of 81.
