PBR was on hand on November 12, 2022 at High Point University for the USA Prime Organizational ID.  The event, organized and run by USA Prime, allowed the organization to ID players for their future rosters.  PBR was on hand to collect stats on the high school players that participated.

PBR runs a Scout Day for USA Prime each summer.  The Organizational ID is an opportunity for the USA Prime players, and others in attendance, to update their stats on their PBR Profile. Players can continue to see how their developmental process, and strength and conditioning plan, is paying off on the field.

Pitchers threw controlled bullpens to open up the workout.  Radar guns were used to collect data on each pitcher in attendance.  Offensive players went through a pro-style workout, running a laser timed 60, taking live BP on field, and then working out at their defensive positions.  Below we take a peak at the leaders from the workout.  CLICK HERE to see the full schedule and statistical output from the workout.

Swift Running Leaders

Swift laser timers were used to run a 60 yard dash.  A 10 yard split was also timed as part of the running metrics. Swift uses the times collected to compute a max run speed in mph of each player as well

Max Exit Velocity in BP

During BP, players took two rounds with TrackMan collecting data on balls that were put in play in fair territory.  Below are the top exit velocities collected throughout the day.

 

Defensive Arm Velocities and Times

Infielders worked out from SS and 1B, working to make throws across the diamond.  Outfielders worked out from either center field, throwing to 3B, or right field, throwing to home plate.  Catchers simulated a runner stealing 2B, working from a crouch, and making throws to 2B.  For every throw, a radar gun was used to gauge arm strength.  Pop times were also taken on catchers, measuring how quickly they get the ball to 2B on a steal attempt.
