SCOUTING REPORT

8.10.16:  Johnson stands 6-foot-2 and has a strong frame with a strong lower half. Throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with short, loose arm action. Throws have carry and accuracy, position velocity was 78. Quick, clean exchange and good footwork with soft hands. Pop times were 2.02-2.09. Hits from right side with athletic stance. Leg kick stride and good lower half with average balance. Short bat path and good approach with a line drive swing, worked gap-to-gap. Exit velocity was 82.
