VA/DC Unsigned Senior Games

Claxton is 5-10 with an athletic 185 pound frame that has a lot of strength present. He hits from the left side from a taller slightly open stance, low leg kick stride on line, short load back to a wrap. Hips rotate completely and he maintains good lower half balance. Hands stay inside, short to the ball, uphill swing path with strength at contact and a lot of extension through the ball, showed a good approach using the whole field, swing generates natural loft and carry to all fields and he shows some real power to his pull side, exit velocity was 94. In the infield, gets body behind the ball and fields with average hands, clean exchange, throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 73. Showed versatility working out in the outfield as well. Ran a 7.53 60 yard dash.
