Preseason All-State II

Griese is 6-1 with an athletic frame that has plenty of projection left to it. He hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance, short stride on line, smooth load back to a slight wrap. Hips rotate completely with some violence and he maintains some lower half balance. Keeps hands inside and is short and quick to the ball, slightly uphill line drive swing with some extension up through contact, power potential is present, exit velocity was 87. In the infield, gets behind the ball and fields with a wider base and average hands. Clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters slot, short arm action, velocity was 84. Ran a 3.95 home to first.
