On Wednesday August 9, PBR VA/DC hosted the Unsigned Senior Games at Virginia Sports Complex in Central Virginia. Over 60 players from all corners of the Commonwealth showcased in front of college coaches and the PBR VA/DC staff at the event and had their videos and stats taken before taking part in a game. We continue our analysis of the event with our breakdown of the middle infielders: 

Christopher Allen King’s Fork
Allen is 5-11 with an athletic frame, he hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance. Short stride on line, short load back, some hip explosion and some balance to his swing. Short level line drive swing, good approach working gap to gap, exit velocity was 82. At short, quick feet, fields with a wider base and average hands. Clean exchange, plays through the ball. Throws from three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 77. Ran a 6.9 60 yard dash.

Will Atkinson St. Christopher’s
Atkinson is 5-10 with an athletic frame, he hits from the right side from a crouched stance with his weight back. Short leg kick stride on line, smooth load back to a wrap. Full hip rotation, some balance to swing. Short to the ball, level line drive swing, good approach working gap to gap during his BP round, exit velocity was 79. At short, clean feet, works around the ball and fields it with and wider base and above average hands. Plays through the ball to a clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 68. Ran a 7.10 60 yard dash.

Chance Davis Fort Chiswell
Davis is 5-10 with a lankier athletic frame, he hits from the right side from a closed athletic stance. Short leg kick stride on line and smooth load down, some rhythm to his swing. Some hip explosion and balance to his swing. Level line drive swing, high barrel awareness, good approach using whole field, exit velocity was 83. At short, gets behind ball to field it and rounds ball well. Average hands, clean exchange, throws from a lower three-quarters arm slot, shortstop velocity was 79. Ran a 7.22 60 yard dash.

Mark Evans York
Evans is 5-9 with an athletic frame, hits from the right side from an athletic stance. Short stride on line, smooth load back, some rhythm to his swing. Explosive lower half and some balance to his swing. Short and quick to the ball, works uphill with extension through the ball, pull approach, exit velocity was 92. At short, clean quick feet, fields with a wider base and above average hands. Plays through the ball, clean exchange, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 78. Ran a 6.72 60 yard dash.

Connor Kannon Manchester
Kannon is 6-2 with an athletic frame, he hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance. Short leg kick stride on line, short load back, explosive lower half and some balance to swing. Quick to ball, level line drive swing, pull preference with some extension through the ball, doubles power, exit velocity was 88. At short, quick clean footwork, fields with soft hands. Plays through the ball to a quick clean exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, infield velocity was 82. Ran a 6.85 second 60 yard dash.

Austin Kruger Cosby
Kruger is 6-0 with a lankier athletic frame. He hits from the right side from an athletic stance. Short leg kick stride on line, loads back to slight wrap. Explosive lower half and some balance to swing. Slightly uphill path, extension through the ball, line drive swing. Showed good approach works gap to gap, exit velocity was 84. At third, clean feet, gets behind ball and fields with above average hands. Plays through the ball, three-quarters arm slot, infield velocity was 73.

Garrett Laraia W.T. Woodson
Laraia is 6-1 with a lankier athletic frame, he hits from the left side from a slightly open balanced athletic stance. Short leg kick stride on line, smooth load back, some rhythm to swing, explosive lower half and some balance to his swing. Short to ball, uphill path, some extension through the ball, pull approach, exit velocity was 76. At short, works around the ball, fields with average hands. Quick exchange, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot infield velocity was 76.

Alex Lemery Robinson
Lemery is 5-10 with an athletic frame, he hits from the right side from a balanced athletic stance. Short stride on line, minimal load back, hips explode and keeps some balance during his swing. Short to ball, works uphill with a pull fly ball approach and some extension through the ball, exit velocity was 82. At short, clean feet, works around the ball and fields with a wider base and above average hands. Clean exchange, works through the ball, throws from a three-quarters arm slot, short arm action, position velocity was 83. Ran a 7.13 60 yard dash.

Chance Maddox Hickory
Maddox is 5-8 with a lankier frame, he hits from the right side from an athletic stance. Short stride on line, short load back, some rhythm to his swing. Explosive lower half with some balance to his swing. Short and quick to ball, works uphill with a pull approach, line drive swing with some fly ball tendencies, exit velocity was 84. Connor Miller Loudoun Valley
Miller is 5-10 with an athletic frame, hits from the right side from an open upright stance. Big leg kick stride, smooth load back, some rhythm to his swing. Explosive lower half and good balance. Level line drive swing, showed good approach, worked gap to gap, exit velocity was 80. At short, clean feet, works around ball and fields with a wide base and above average hands. Tanner Moyers Turner Ashby
Moyers is 6-1 with an athletic frame, he hits from the left side from a slightly open upright stance. Short leg kick stride on line, smooth load back, rhythm to his swing, explosive lower half and good balance throughout his swing. Short quick swing, level path with extension through the ball, line drive hitter, shows good approach uses the entire field, exit velocity was 84. At short, clean feet, fields with a wider base and above average hands. Clean exchange, plays through the ball, throws from a low three-quarters arm slot, position velocity was 80. Matthew Roth Dominion (Leesburg)
Roth is 5-9 with an athletic frame, he hits from the right side from a wide athletic stance. Strides on line, minimal load, explosive lower half with some balance to his swing. Level line drive swing, shorter to ball, showed good approach using middle of the field, prefers to pull the ball with elevation, exit velocity was 77. Michael Sevila Langley

Brett Stallings West Springfield
