It is with great excitement that we release to you today, our expanded 2025 rankings. We have now gone from a Top 125 to a Top 150. As the 2025 class takes shape, our rankings will continue to expand to get a complete view across the state.
Following the release of our expanded 2025 rankings, we will highlight new faces and big risers on Thursday and Friday.
Brice Abbott 3B / Blacksburg, VA / 2025A new face to the 2025 rankings is Blacksburg corner infielder, Brice Abbott. This is a physical right handed bat that had a big impact at the varsity level as a freshman and had some impressive production at the plate. Abbott has a middle of the order, run production, profile. He was one of the standouts at the NRV Tigers Scout Day.

Aidan Zovak OF / Riverbend, VA / 2025Another bat to keep an eye on is Riverbend outfielder, Aidan Zovak. When you watch him hit you just get that feeling that good hitters give you. Left-handed swing, lean strength, rhythm and flow, and does a really nice job syncing up timing. Gets the barrel turned with authority and we think he is going to have a chance to be a really nice bat in the 2025 class.

Patrick Sido OF / West Springfield, VA / 2025Another new face to the 2025 rankings is West Springfield outfielder, Patrick Sido. Sido has a short compact swing with quick hands. He has shown some loft in BP and doubles power, but the bat really seems to show up well in game. Corner outfield profile with the ability to find the barrel at the plate.
