Short arm action with normal effort, shoulders are uphill and closed. Fastball has plane to it, sitting 76-78 in a late May start. Change-up has sinking action and he slowed his arm a bit. Curveball has gradual 1/7 break, 67-69.

Josh Pittman

Pittman committed to St. Bonaventure. He has a lanky 6-0 frame and throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a smooth drop and drive delivery. Short, loose arm action that is quick and generates velocity with normal effort. Shoulders level and closed as he strides to a closed landing with a fall off finish. Fastball sat 84-85, touching 86, with hard late run. Curveball had sharp 11/5 break and good armspeed, running 70-71. Showed good command of both pitches.

Zach Runk
Zach Runk, MIF, Massaponax, 2017
Runk committed to Eastern Mennonite.
Hit from a balanced/athletic stance that was slightly open. Had a smooth load back with the hands. Took a short stride to the pitcher and stayed on line and showed balance in the swing. Had a very confident presence at the plate. Showed average bat speed. Had a short/level stroke that was gap-gap. The rhythm was inconsistent at times, but when fluid, showed the ability to hit with some flick. In the field, threw from a high three-quarters arm slot with a short, loose arm action with accuracy. Played through the baseball with average hands, clean footwork, and quick/clean transitions. Showed average arm strength.

Corey Willis
Corey Willis, 3B/C, Massaponax, 2017
Willis committed to Eastern Mennonite. He has a lankier athletic 6-0 frame. Hits from the right side with decent batspeed and gap power potential. Above average runner with an accurate arm.
