#3 Freedom (South Riding) 2, #19 Herndon 1

Class 5
#20 Douglas Freeman 4, #15 Glen Allen 0
The Mustangs jumped out to 3-0 lead in the top of the first with Lee Sowers (Virginia Tech) delivering the first two runs via a 2B. Jackson Beale was spectacular, tossing 6 innings of 4-hit shutout ball with 5 strikeouts. Sowers finished the game 1-2 with 2 RBI and Carson Herod was 1-3 with a BB. Chad Martin was very good in relief for the Jaguars, throwing 5.2 innings and allowing 1 run on 3 hits with 6 strikeouts.


Class 4
#1 Hanover 11, #23 James Wood 0
The Hawks captured their first State Championship since 2016, ending a great run from James Wood. Cannon Peebles (NC State), Marcus Van Alstine (), and Levi Huesman (Coastal Carolina) combined to throw a 1-hit shutout with 8 strikeouts. Seth Keller (Old Dominion) capped his high school career with a home run as part of a 3-4 day with 5 RBI. Peebles was also 2-3 and Brett Alvis () had a 2B and 2 RBI. Elijah Miller drew 3 walks for the Colonels.


Class 3
#6 Liberty Christian 6, #8 Abingdon 5

A wild finish saw the Bulldogs rally to tie the game at 3 in the bottom of the sixth, Abingdon take the lead in the top of the seventh, and then Liberty Christian rally again and walk the game off on a 2-out, 2 RBI single off of the bat of Lane Duff (). Duff went 2-4 with 2 RBI and Logan Duff () went 2-4 with a 2B and a 3B while Jackson Downey was 3-3. Landon Owen was very good out of the pen, going 5.1 innings and allowing 1 run on 5 hits. Ethan Gibson (Virginia Tech), Cole Lambert, and Luke Bedwell all had multi-hit games for the Falcons.


Class 2
#25 Appomattox County 4, John Battle 2
The Raiders opened up a 4-0 lead and hung on to win the Class 2 State Title. Alex Caruso threw a complete game in the win. Trey Shrock had a 2B and 3 BB for the Raiders. Jon Allen Richardson and Porter Gobble were each 3-4 for John Battle.


Class 1
Rappahannock 1, Rappahannock County 0

This game was scoreless into the bottom of the ninth inning, when Slade Keyser drove in the game's only run to walk it off and give the Raiders the Championship. Keyser also started the game and went 7.2 innings of shutout ball, allowing 5 hits and striking out 12. For Rappahannock County, Mason Ramey was also outstanding on the mound, going 8.1 innings of shutout ball while allowing just 5 hits and striking out 12 as well. Caden Smith was 3-4 for Rap County.
