Winter Uncommitted Spotlight: William Hurt

6-foot, 155-pound proportional athletic build. In BP, Hurt had exit velo of 82 mph (64.0 mph bat speed average, 18.0mph hand speed average). Begins in balanced athletic stance with a smooth, active load. Then uses a controlled stride and has a simple rotational swing plane, quick efficient bat speed and high finish. Created some loud contact  and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Athletic in the infield, displayed a velo of 70 mph. shows sure consistent hands, athletics in control footwork, and a clean exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a short compact arm action and a high 3/4 slot. Recorded a 7.33 in the 60-yard dash
